Arthur was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force and lost his life aged just 24 years in WWII. He flew Hurricanes and a few mission in the Spitfire which he preferred. Tragically, he was killed at the Battle of El Alamein. His family believe he was shot down by ground AA fire but no-one is entirely sure.
