Irene M BARROWS 

Born abt.1891 

Irene was born in about 1891 at Connecticut, USA. She was the great-granddaughter of James KNIBBS who emigrated from Clifton, Oxfordshire, England with his wife and two daughters in the 1850's. His daughter Ann KNIBBS married a man named Elijah ROBERTS. They had a daughter Minnie. Minnie married William H BARROWS, and Irene was their daughter.

Irene married a man named Archie YOUNG and is also featured in the 5 generation photograph, aged 17 years with her young baby Archie Arthur YOUNG. I would estimate this photograph was taken c.1897 when Irene was 6 or 7 years of age.
