Acclamations

Last updated March 11th, 2008

As I've already mentioned in my introduction, I must thank Joyce Fischer from Canada. Joyce was my first contact with other KNIBBS researchers and despite my disappointment that our lines don't appear to be connected, it was Joyce who encouraged me to keep researching. It was however Colin Robinson from Manchester, England, who really got me started and without whom I would never have got as far as I have.

Another major influence over the past couple of years has been Alan Jackson from Leeds, England. Alan has helped me tremendously. He is carrying out a K/NIBB/S one-name study and has a database of over 20,000 of the K/NIBB/S clan. Drop in and view Alan's Web Pages and if you have an interest in or information on K/NIBB/S I'm sure he would love to hear from you.

Others who have helped me are Carol White from Illinois, Mary Crandall from Ontario, George & Raymond Knibbs, Alf Fantham, plus numerous others from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. Finally, thanks to Ana Knibbs-Rizzo from New York, Natascha Hartlett from South Africa, and Lee Walter of Connecticut who more recently, between them, have provided all the information related to their particular line of Knibbs' activities overseas.

Thanks must also go to Mike DeBacker for producing the free package UncleGED used for the production of the family files of my web pages.
